Ofrenda Día de Muertos

Con gran orgullo y respeto por nuestras tradiciones, los alumnos y docentes del colegio han preparado esta hermosa ofrenda del Día de Muertos, un espacio que honra la memoria de quienes ya no están con nosotros y celebra la vida que continúa.
Al centro, una catrina monumental se alza como símbolo de la dualidad entre la muerte y la vida, recordándonos que ambas forman parte del mismo ciclo. A su alrededor, los niveles del altar están decorados con los elementos tradicionales: flores de cempasúchil y terciopelo, nubes, pan de muerto, veladoras, papel picado, calaveritas de azúcar y amaranto, así como incienso y copal, que purifican el ambiente y guían el camino de las almas.
En la base de la ofrenda, los más pequeños del colegio —nuestros alumnos de preescolar— realizaron una colorida interpretación de “La Catrina” de José Guadalupe Posada, elaborada con semillas y papel crepé boleado, demostrando su creatividad y amor por nuestras raíces.
La ofrenda también rinde homenaje a la riqueza agrícola de México, incorporando elementos esenciales de nuestra alimentación ancestral: maíz, calabaza, chile poblano, tomate, jitomate, chayote y chilacayote. Cada uno de estos vegetales representa la conexión entre la tierra, la cultura y la vida cotidiana de nuestro pueblo.
Como parte de la formación integral de los alumnos, este proyecto fue trabajado desde diferentes áreas académicas. En las clases de Arte, Español, Taller de Lectura y Redacción, y Tecnología, los estudiantes elaboraron calaveritas literarias, epitafios y reflexiones sobre el significado de los elementos del altar. Desde la materia de Tecnología, los alumnos exploraron herramientas digitales para complementar el proceso creativo y documentar el proyecto, fortaleciendo sus habilidades en el uso responsable e innovador de la tecnología.
Además, construyeron un simbólico cementerio, integrando la creatividad con el respeto y el aprendizaje.
Finalmente, la comunidad escolar se une en el mural “Luces y Recuerdos”, donde cada familia ha compartido fotografías de sus seres queridos fallecidos. Este mural es un gesto de amor y memoria, un espacio donde se honra el pasado y se fortalece el sentido de pertenencia y comunidad.
Esta ofrenda no solo representa una tradición mexicana, sino también la unión, el respeto y el cariño que caracterizan a nuestra comunidad educativa.
